Events:

ACTO plans and executes events all year long to earn consistent funding for our facility. We are also very grateful to the civic organizations that raise funds on our behalf.  Here are just a few of the events we have enjoyed or are planning.

Elvis Is In The Building:  Every year we have our annual “Elvis Is In The Building”, one of our most popular events.  This year it will be held at the Valdosta Performing Arts Center at 3101 Barack Obama Blvd on August 24th.  The show starts at 6:30pm.  The tickets are $25.00 in advance and $30.00 at the door.  Tickets can be purchased at Jordan's Salon on Gordon Street, Southern Self storage at either location and by calling ACTO.  Austin Irby, an award-winning Elvis Tribute Artist (he recently won 3rd place in the Las Vegas Elvis Festival) will be performing the different stages of Elvis' life.  He puts on an electrifying show.   Cole Tucker, another award-winning entertainer, will be there with his puppets to use his ventriloquist skills.  One must see him to understand how amazing he really is.  We will have our cakes and candies for sale and a nice selection of silent auction items donated by our great community.  Please come and enjoy this event and support a great cause.

Annual Bowling Tournament:  This event will be held in October at Jac's Lanes on Connell Road.

A lane can be sponsored for $250.00 or a 5-person team can bowl for $150.00.  Please contact Ann at (229)563-2435 for details or to register.  We will have a 50/50 drawing and door prizes.

The date will be announced soon.

We participate in the Merry Market Place Christmas Craft Show which will be held at the Rainwater Conference Center on November 16th & 17th this year.
